"Herman H. Abendroth"
Herman Henry Abendroth was born December 17, 1879 in Schulenburg, Texas. In the year 1889 he moved with his parents to Needville. On December 5, 1905, he was married to Alice Radke and to this union one son was born. He passed away Wednesday morning, March 2, at the Fort Bend hospital. He reached the age of 71 years, two months and 13 days.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock from the St. Paul's Presbyterian church in Needville with Rev. J. R. Vilt officiating. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Alice Abendroth of Needville; one son, Julius Abendroth of Needville; two grandchildren; one brother, William Abendroth of Wharton; one sister, Emma Banker of Needville; one half-brother, Gus Abendroth and one half-sister, Alma Cowan, both of Houston, and one half-sister, Fena Lehmann of Needville.
Pallbearers were F. H. Shefcik, Inoe Pesak, Joe Vydrzal, W.J. Woytek, Fritz Hackstedt, G. T. Zich, Henry Winkelmann and S. C. Wittneben. * * *
