Mrs. Mickie Fleming Farrar, 76, wife of investment banker Rudolph S. Farrar, died Thursday in Park View Hospital after a long illness.
Graveside services were held today at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin. The Rev. Julian Gunn officiated. Franklin Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Farrar was a native of Williamson County and a daughter of the late Sam M. and Cynthia Cannon Fleming. She was a graduate of Battle Ground Academy in Franklin and National Park Seminary in Washington, D. C.
She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Farrar lived at 1317 Chickering Road.
Survivors besides her husband include a son, Samuel F. Farrar, Franklin; a grandddaughter, Miss Mickie L. Farrar, Nashville; a grandson, Samuel F. Farrar, Jr., Nashville; a sister, Mrs. Andrew Mizell, Franklin; and a brother, Sam M. Fleming, Nashville.
