Abell on the other part. Whereas on 7/2/1827 a writ was issued to said sheriff relating to the county court's term March 1827 when Enoch J. Millard, Adm. of Elizabeth Barnhouse by judgement of court recovered against Benjamin Greenwell , late of St. Mary's Co., yeoman, $226.95 and $600 for damages and $6.92 for costs. The Sheriff seized 120 acres of Greenwell's land "Leake's Purchase" to sell at public auction but there were no bidders and afterwards on 8/20/1827court issued another writ and land was again seized and on 11/27/1827 land , "Leake's Purchase", was sold to Enoch B. Abell at public auction for $100. Abell has paid money and is desirous of a deed, which was issued.
