On April 4, 1892 she married Robert Lee Wiggs in Vinita, Indian Territory and is buried near him. Lenora trained as a registered nurse and was so employed at a Galveston, Texas hospital when the devastating hurricane and resulting flood hit Galveston Bay on Sept. 8, 1900.

Their children were: Harry Edgar (b. 1893), Addie L. (1895-1896), and Elsie J. Lavery (1897-1942).
