Irene (Dixon) Beltz, 93, formerly of Willow Springs, Missouri, was born September 28, 1919, at home in Texas County, Missouri, the sixth child of Herschel Abram Dixon, and departed this life September 15, 2013, in Sullivan, Illinois following a brief illness.

Irene was united in marriage to LeRoy Thomas Beltz on May 18, 1938, at the Methodist parsonage in Willow Springs, and to this union, twelve children were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of nearly 55 years, eight siblings, two sons, a daughter-in-law, a grandson, and a great number of lifelong friends and neighbors.

Those left to mourn her passing are five sons, Glen Allen, and wife, Elke, of Columbia, MO, Bill Edward and wife, Shirley, of Highland, IL, James David "JD" and wife, Edie, of St. Charles, MO, Stephen Herschel and wife, Pamela, of Springfield, MO, and Jonathan Timothy of Wright City, MO; five daughters, Karolyn Kay Stevens of Randolph, NE, Ruth Anne and husband, Roger Theilmann, of Dardenne Prairie, MO, Alice Suelynn and husband, Roger Bunnell, of Ellijay, GA, Sarah Jean and husband, Rev. Fred Hauck, of Sullivan, IL, and Mary Malynda and husband, Mark Holland, of Springfield, MO; daughter-in-law, Linda Lou (Minze) (Beltz) Martin (widow of Charley Beltz) of Hayden, MO; sister-in-law, Doris Dixon (widow of Floyd Dixon) of Fresno, CA; thirty-five grandchildren; seventy-five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Willow Springs, MO under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon-1:00 p.m. just prior to the funeral service in the church sanctuary.

Interment will be in Clear Springs Cemetery, Texas County, MO.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Clear Springs Cemetery and left at the mortuary.
