Virginia Belle Wilson, 87, of Interlachen, died Saturday, December 2, 2000, at Putnam Community Medical Center following a short illness.
A native of Lexington, Kentucky she had been a resident of Interlachen for the past 27 years, coming from Gainesville. She was a homemaker and member of Bethel Assembly of God in Interlachen and loved making crafts and gardening.
She is survived by two sons, Jesse Charles Holder of Panama City and Joseph Richard Holder of Gainesville; two daughters, Mary Inez Pinkston of Gainesville, and Alice Mae Robinson of Bronson; three brothers, R. D. Underwood of Gainesville, Tom Underwood of Atlanta, Ga., and John O. Underwood of Interlachen; a sister, Viola Valentine of Orange, Calif.; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2000, at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home of Interlachen with Pastor Bob Mobley officiating.
Burial will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Forest Meadows Cemetery East in Gainesville. visitation will be Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
