Memorial services and final commital for Jerry Branning, 68, of Lamesa, will be held in Pascagoula, Miss. Arrangements are under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Mr. Branning died on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born Jan. 30, 1945 in Philadelphia, Miss. He married Rena Stanton Sept. 21. 1997 in Lamesa.
He served in law enforcement and later became a commercial truck driver.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Walter and Louise Branning.
Survivors include his wife, Rena Branning of Lamesa; two daughters, Rene Noel of Florida and Tabitha Powell of Sutsuma, Ala.; one son, Jeremy Branning of Sutsuma, Ala.; two brothers, Tommy Branning of Farmington, N.M. and Willie Branning of Texas; one sister, Linda Branning of Mississippi; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
