The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hoover was a member of Spring Garden Friends Meeting and a graduate of Greensboro High School. She was employed with the Guilford County Court System for 20 years and Desota Chemical Co. until her retirement.
Mrs. Hoover was preceded in death by her son, Lindley Michael Hoover.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Henry Hoover of Greensboro; daughter, Cindy Idol of Colfax; sister, Hilda Briggs of Lexington; brother, Max Hohn of Greensboro; and two grandchildren, Derik and Jason Idol.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2000, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Spring Garden Friends Meeting, 1610 Spring Garden St., Greensboro, N.C. 27403.
