Betty Louise Griggs, 76, of Hallsville went to our Lord on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009.

Friends and family will be welcomed between 3 and 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born April 5, 1933, to Robert and Emma Tomlin in Boone County, Betty loved spending time with her family, fishing, canning and searching for treasures at garage sales.
She is survived by her children, Terry Griggs of Billings, Mont., Carol Hefley of Dallas, Denny Griggs of Hallsville, and Laura Reddick of Hallsville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Tomlin of Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Griggs; three brothers; and four sisters.
