MRS. OLIVE L. VEST
Mrs. Olive L. Vest, 62, a lifelong resident of Ottumwa, died at 11:20 a.m. today at her home, 1107 West Second street.
The daughter of Martin and Kate Bush, she was born in Ottumwa, August 31, 1889. She was married to Joseph J. Vest, December 20, 1907, in Ottumwa.
Sue is survived by her husband; five sons, Joseph Jr., Nathan, Kenneth, and Eugene, all of Ottumwa, and Donald with the army in California; three daughters, Mrs. Gretchen Coltrain, Mrs. Mary Nevins, and Mrs. Helen Howard, all of Ottumwa; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Burns of Ottumwa.
Preceding her in death were three daughters, one son, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Olive L. Vest, 62, wife of Joseph J. Vest, 1107 West Second street, who died Tuesday morning, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Johnson Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Wilson Hyde of Wesley Methodist Church. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Albertson, Walter Albertson, Hollis Albertson, Jesse Jacquinot, Lloyd Grimes and Dewey Grimes.
