LAWSON, NELLIE RUTH - age 78, of Rutledge, passed away peacefully at her loving sister's home surrounded by people who loved her on September 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Hugh Lee Lawson; daughter, Susie Covington. She is survived by sons, Hugh L. Lawson, Terry Lynn (Kathy) Lawson, Mark David (Gail) Lawson; daughters, Tina (Steve) Richards, Lisa (Rick) Huckaby, Robin (Keith) Cardwell; thirteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; special loving sister, Martha Williams; brothers, Joe and Bill; and a sister, Lavern. Funeral service will be Friday, September 13, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Lawson officiating. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at 10:45 a.m. at Asbury Cemetery in Knoxville for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
