Edwin Otto Kuehl, 85, died on June 24, 1983 in Mart. Services at Wilkirson Hatch chapel with burial in Rosemound Cemetery.

Mr. Kuehl was born Oct 5, 1897 in Riesel TX where he was reared and educated.

He farmed in Riesel; Limestone, Hill and McLennan County for many years and retired in 1972. He also worked for Blue Bonnet Ordinance Plant in McGregor during WWII.

Mr. Kuehl was married to Annie Reuwer in 1920 in Riesel, she died in 1970. MR. Kuehl then married Alice Kuehl in 1972 in Mart. He was a member of Grace Lutheran church of Mart.

Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Alice Kuehl of Mart; six sons, Arthur E Kuehl of Artesia N.M., Andrew W. Kuehl of Alta Loma, Jack A Kuehl of Axtell, Edwin L. Kuehl of Grand Prairie, Franklin G. Kuehl of Lorena, and Don W. Kuehl of Aledo; two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Howard and Mrs. Marilyn Smith both of Waco; two brothers, Lee Kuehl of Waco and Albert Kuehl of Riesel; two sisters, Mrs.W.T. Albritton of Speegleville and Mrs. Bob McElroy of Waco; 21 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
