A native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Trent and Elsie Blaylock Adams. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Army. He had been an 18-year employee with the Berkshire Mill. He was a member of the Valley River Baptist Church and attended Grace Fellowship Baptist Church.
Services were held at 2 p. m. Friday (June 7) in the Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Revs. France Postell and Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial was in Valley River Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to Grace Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund, % Larry Phillips, P/ O. Box 98, Andrews, NC 28901.
