Sarah married Solomon Senff, son of Christian W. & Barbara (Resler) Senff, in 1832 in Saltlick Twp., Fayette Co., PA.
Solomon and Sarah moved to Sugar Creek Twp., Tuscarawas Co., OH between 1847 & 49, in the company of his older brother Daniel Senff and his family. (It is believed that Daniels wife, Susanna and Solomons wife Sarah were sisters). Solomon died there about 1850. It is unknown where Sarah lived from 1850 til she shows up in her son William B. Senffs household in Motley, MN, where she died at the age of 70 on 31 July 1882.
Sarah and Solomon had 5 children, but the whereabouts of only William B. is known. Catherine, Susannah, and Mary have not been found, nor is the fate of a son, name unknown. The son probably died around 1850 as well, at age 10-11, according to his prescence and then absense in the Census.
Sarah is buried in Motley Cemetery by her son, William B. Senff, his wife Eliza and their daughter Lilly.
Solomon would have been 44 to 47 yrs. of age at the time of his death. Oldest son William B. Senff would have been left the man of the house as a teenager when his father died, to take care of his mother Sarah and sisters.
