She was born December 23, 1917 in Attapulgus, GA.
She graduated from the SouthWest College in Americus, GA, and was a lifetime resident of the Quincy-Attapulgus area and was a member of the Attapulgus United Methodist Church where she was very active.
She was also a teacher and homemaker and an expert seamtress and cook.
Service will be Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Attapulgus United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Quincy, FL. Memorials may be made to the Attapulgus UMC, PO Box 26, Attapulgus, GA, 39815.
