Joanne M. Allen, age 76, of Prairie Farm, WI died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm.
She was born November 30, 1936 to George & Palma (Olson) Quarderer at Colfax, WI where she was raised and attended school. On November 22, 1957, she was married to Donald Allen at Stillwater, MN.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Donald on August 7, 1975, 2 infant daughters: Tammy & Cindy, son: Jim Allen, brothers: Buck & Jim Quarderer & sister: Fern Koehler. She is survived by her sons: Larry Allen of Troy, OH, George (Lisa) Allen of Turtle Lake & Tommy Allen of Boyceville, daughters: Peggy (Harold) Holten of Prairie Farm & Judy (Philip) Lockwood of Colfax, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, brother: Jerry (Vickie) Quarderer of Somerset, sisters: Pearl (Vernon) Koehler of Colfax, Patricia (Roland) Jacobs of Houlton, Yvonne (Arnold) Haas of Stillwater, Linda Haas of Somerset & Mary (Jerry) Gaulke of Surprise, AZ, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Funeral services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas with Rev. Ralph Marquardt officiating and interment in Hay River Cemetery in the Town of Hay River, Dunn County, WI. Visitation will be (was) held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and also for the hour prior to services Thursday both at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
