Mrs. Agnes M. Brandon, 74, widow of Charles E. Brandon, died at 2:55 a.m. Wednesday at her home, 216 S. Manning Ave. She had been ill one week. A lifelong resident of Delaware County, Mrs. Brandon was the daughter of George and Mary (Wiggerly) Myers, pioneer residents of this community. Until last June, the Brandon family home was located three miles north of Muncie on Wheeling Pike.
Surviving are four children, Harold H. Brandon of RR 1 Muncie, Mrs. Herman E. Walters, Mrs. Glen G. McDonald and Lawrence W. Brandon, all of Muncie; four grandchildren, Robert Brandon of Muncie, Kenneth Brandon with the U.S. Navy in California, Larry Brandon and Gloria Ann Brandon, both of RR 1 Muncie; and two brothers, Roy Myers of Middletown and Spencer Myers of Daleville.
Mrs. Brandon's husband died 17 years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Meeks Mortuary by the Reverend Van Hinckley. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary form 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday or prior to services on Friday.
