Tammy Going, 47, of Riverside, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born February 7, 1966 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Russell Wadell and Clea E. Waddoups Going. She is a life-time resident of Riverside. Tammy attended school in Snake River, graduating from Snake River High School. She attended Idaho State University to obtain a CNA Degree.

Tammy is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, fulfilling callings in Relief Society and Primary. She served a mission to the Las Vegas English Speaking Mission. Tammy has a strong testimony which has carried her through her trials throughout her life.

She was a care giver and felt a great reward in helping others.

Tammy enjoyed reading and music. She loved kids, crafts and cinnamon bears, she was well known for her hugs and famous for her one-liners.

She is survived by her mother, Clea Waddoups Wilson of Blackfoot; three brothers, Lyle Going of Blackfoot, Rod (Mignon) Going of Richmond, Utah, Michael Allen Going of Blackfoot; three sisters, Kathy (Tom) Clough of Florence, Oregon, Nina (Brent) Wells of Gresham, Oregon, Ruth Ann Haines of Kearns, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Going, brother Ray Going and step-father Lester Moroni Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013 at the Riverside LDS Chapel with Bishop Watkins conducting. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home and again for one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
