Derrill Harold Burns, 59, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013. He was the husband of Gay Blackwell Burns.
Mr. Burns was a son of the late William Harold and Madge Burns. He was an employee of AT&T and a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg.
In addition to his wife he is survived by son: Todd Burns; daughter: Alicia Fowler and husband Ben; brother: Dennis Burns and wife Gina; sister Sybil Scruggs and husband Mark; step-mom: Dot Burns; step-sister: Vera Cartwright and husband Arthur; step-brother: Fred Sergicomi; grandchildren: Philip Burns, Scott and Hope Fowler.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs officiated by Dr. Mike Hamlet. Entombment will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
