September 6--- Mrs. Alma Cason Conrad, age 75, of Lyons, died Thursday, September 5, 2013 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness.
She was born in Mt. Vernon and lived in Montgomery County most of her life, before moving to Toombs County in 1978.
She was employed at Ailey Manufacturing for several years, and retired from the Salvation Army in Vidalia after many years of service. She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Lyons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Conrad; parents, Homer Cason and Gladys Massey Smith; an infant grandson, Gary Conrad; and an infant great-grandson, Cole Darden.
