LINCOLNTON - Jack McCraven Abernathy, 77, of 1087 Detter Road, died July 16, 2010, at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Abernathy was born Sept. 12, 1932, in Lincoln County, to the late Adolphus Pinkney and Flossie Cashion Abernathy.
His funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of Lincolnton.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:30 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the church.
