MRS. W. J. REYNOLDS
It was with deep regret that Sabetha and community learned of the death of Mrs. W. J. Reynolds Sunday, December 11.

Minerva Ellen Ayers was born April 26, 1868 at Indianhead, Fayette County, Pa., and died at the home of Elmer Althouse December 11, 1921, at the age of 53 years, 7 months and 15 days.

At the age of 17 she came with her parents to Sabetha, Kas., where she resided most of the time until her death.

On the 26th day of April 1888 she was united in marriage to Wiley J. Reynolds, at Sabetha, Kas. To this union were born seven children three dying in infancy and one daughter, Helen Mishler who preceded her by less than a year.

She leaves to mourn her loss besides, a host of friends, her husband Wiley J. Reynolds, one son and two daughters, R. W. and Mrs. Ruth McFarland of Fairbury, Neb., and Mrs. Grace Martsolf of Abilene, Kas., also five grandchildren.

She leaves besides her father, David Ayers, three brothers and two sisters, William, Lud and Sam Ayers and Mrs. Sadie Brown of Centralia, and Mrs. Effie Cooper of Topeka. She joined the Baptist church at an early age and remained a faithful member until her death.

For the past ten years she has been almost a constant companion of Mrs. Herman Althouse. Her love and unselfishness can never be forgotten by her children and especially by Grandma Althouse who will miss her tender care and kindly deeds.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. Wallace Carpenter assisted by Rev. Bolton. Interment was in the Sabetha cemetery.
