Carl Lee Anderson, 75, of Burlington, West Virginia died Tuesday July 23, 2013 at his residence.
Born on December 20, 1937 at Keyser, WV, he was a son of the late James Robert and Margaret Elizabeth (Malone) Anderson. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Robert Anderson and a sister, Jean Anderson. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Mr. Anderson was retired as a self employed electrician in the home construction industry. He also served in the United States Army. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Mary Louise (Shaffer) Anderson; four children, Sheila E. Anderson and Leonard Carl Anderson, both of Keyser, Curtis Lee Anderson of Fort Ashby, WV and Linda Lou Anderson of Burlington; 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren "on the way."
A graveside service will be conducted at the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Andrew C. Agnew, Sr. officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to please assemble at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday by 2:45 p.m. The Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
