Florence was known as Kate, she one of 10 children born to James and Fanny. Her father was a fruiterer & florist with a shop in Duke's St, Chelmsford, Essex, her brother Percy took over the business after their father died.
Kate married Arthur Bengry in Chelmsford, Essex, in 1903.
