Fifth child of Samuel and Eliza (Orr) Wark. Married three times. Lucy Cutler was his third wife. Was a minister, ordained in the Congregational Church in Harvard, Nebraska. He attended the Chicago Theological Seminary and Williams College. He was a pastor at Congregational Churchs in Harvard, NE;, Saratoga Springs, NY; Winnetka, IL, Pomona, CA and Bellingham, WA. He also conducted European travel tours, and lectured at Pomona College in Pomona, CA.
