WIDELY KNOWN LOCAL WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY

Mrs. Jane Krouskup, nearly 90 years of age, died suddenly at noon today at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. William Foley, 302 Division street. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the McCauley & Chapman funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Thomas B. Collins, of the Methodist church.

Had Mrs. Krouskup lived until Nov. 8, she would have been 90 years old. She had been in exceedingly good health for a woman of her years. She was taken ill Sunday evening and her trouble developed into plural pneumonia. She sank steadily until death relieved her.

Widely Known

Mrs. Krouskup was one of the best known and oldest women in Hamilton county. She had lived in Webster City some 30 years, prior to which she lived in Stratford. She is survived by a son, Roy K., who lives in South Norwalk, Conn. Mrs. Krouskup was born in Canada.

For many years Mrs. Krouskup had been active as a nurse, in which capacity she had visited many homes over the county. She enjoyed unusually rugged health and had seldom been ill a day during her long life.

Oldest Church Member

She had been almost a life long member of the Methodist church and was the oldest member of the local church in which she had been a regular attendant for many years. She was a sweet and charming old lady, widely known and universally liked. She had been unusually active even in her later years and her sudden death will be sincerely mourned in many homes over Hamilton county.
