ESTEL [Groggs] SAMPSON
Estel Sampson, 81, of Coolville, died Friday, June 2, 1995, at Arcadia Nursing Center, Coolville.
She was born in Arnoldsburg, a daughter of the late Columbus and Jane Santey Grogg. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are one son, Rick Sampson of Coolville; five daughters, Gladys Barton and Ida Mae Spradlin of Coolville, Marjorie Benedum of Reedsville, Ohio, Anna Weekley of Guysville, Ohio, and Carolyn C. Smith of Mansfield, Ohio; two sisters, Ida Camp and Beulah Cole, both of Akron, Ohio; 26 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurdle Sampson; two sons, Daris Sampson and David Sampson; one sister, Ermel Rogers; two brothers, Lee Grogg and Ora Grogg one grand-daughter; and one great-granddaughter.
Services were held at White Funeral Home, Coolville, with Rev. Cecil Morrison officiating. Burial was in Eden Cemetery,
