Vera lived in Dazey, ND as a child and moved to Vermillion, SD where she spent the better part of her married life to first husband Orville James Davis, whom she married in 1932. He died in 1981 in SD. Vera spent the rest of life in Oregon with her 4 childrens families. She and Orville divorced and she was briefly married to Claude Syrock and Ralph 'Steve' Hughes, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was survived by her children, Arlene Vivien Davis-(E.R.'Pete')Tiemann of Portland, OR, Gayle Orville (June)Davis of Wamego, KS, Linda Kay Davis-Armstrong- (Joe) Archer of Oregon City/Milwaukee, OR, and Lonnie Ray Davis of Milwaukee, OR. Also surviving, a brother, Leon Senff of Scappoose, OR, 17 grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchilden, and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents,Charles & Lydia Senff, brothers, Marion Senff, Sherman Senff, Harold Senff, & Raymond L. 'Jack' Senff, also sisters, Emma Senff-Thorne-Maruska, and Hazel Senff-Mohr-Wevick. Vera was a home maker, and played the piano.
