His wife, the former Lillian Sterneman, died in 1920. He is survived by two sons, the Rev. William M. Biechler and Cyrus W., both of Lancaster; two daughters, Annie, wife of Roy K. Ressler, Conestoga; and Florence, wife of Mowery B. Brenner, Highville; 18 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; and a sister, Harriet, wife of Ira K. Herr, of Lancaster."
