W.M. BIECHLER, 95, RETIRED MINISTER

The Rev. William M. Biechler, 95, of the Mennonite Home, Lancaster, died there Friday at 11:45 p.m. following a brief illness.

He was the husband of the late Minerva Wade Biechler, who died July 3, 1984.

Born in Conestoga, he was the son of the late Christian and Lillian Sternaman Biechler.

Rev. Biechler founded Biechler Electronics, where he maintained organs.

He was a member of the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church of Lancaster. He retired from the ministry in 1958.

He served at several Evangelical Congregational churches in Pennsylvania the following years: Reichs, 1927 and 1948; Tower City/Muir, 1929; Lavelle 1931; Pine Grove, 1936; Berrysburg, 1939; Boyertown, 1950; Weissport, 1952; Bridgeville, 1953, and East Petersburg, 1957.

Rev. Biechler is survived by a son, John R., husband of Helen K. Biechler, Naples, Fla.; a daughter, June R., wife of Henry J.Weidman, Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great—grandchildren; and a sister, Annie Ressler, Conestoga.
