Prominent Farmer Claimed By Death Arnold D. Cotney, Sr. 67, prominent farmer, lumberman and saw mill operator, of near Daviston, died Monday at Andalusia. He recently underwent an operation. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Daviston Baptist Church. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Radney Funeral Home was in charge.
Surviving are the widow, four sons, A. D. Cotney, Jr., of Roanoke; Braxton Cotney, Wadley Route; Ray Cotney and Baron Cotney, of Daviston; and four sisters, Miss Marion Cotney, of Columbiana; Mrs. Maureen Crampton, of Wadley Route; Mrs. J. D. Searcy, of Andalusia, and Mrs. Billie Cotney, of Wadley Route.
