Margaret Woodcock Fennel, 80 of Jesup, Ga. died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Wayne County native was a member of Flint Branch Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Carlton G. "Joe" Fennel.
Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jesse Stepp of Brunswick, Ga.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Paula Fennel of Mobile, Ala., Larry Fennel of Jesup, Ga.; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Flint Branch Baptist Church with Brother Albert Dyal and Pastor Scott Hickox officiating. Interment will be in the Flint Branch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jesse Stepp, Cade Stepp, Christopher Brannen, Christopher Fennel, Russell Wood and Gary Fennel.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. prior to services at the church.
