Mrs. Adams was a native Upsonian. She was a former Upson county school teacher, a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the R.E. Hightower Chapter No. 291 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, Miss Ernestine Adams, Atlanta, and Miss Sara Adams, Thomaston; a son, Malvin M. Adams, Thomaston; two brothers, Grady Vining and James Vining, both of Thomaston; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
