MRS VERNIE M SPIGLER, widow of James W Spigler, died suddenly Saturday evening after being taken to Washington county Hospital, aged 75 years.

Mrs Spigler made her home with her daughter, Mrs Robert O Condon, 531 N Mulberry St.

She was born at Halfway, daughter of the late Joseph and Adaline (Cover) Kneisly.

She had been a life long resident of this city. She was a member of Washington Square Methodist Church and the Ladies Bible Class.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs Stanley C Freeze and Mrs Robert O Condon, both of Hagerstown; sisters, Mrs Jennie Schlotterbeck, Mrs Kate Derr and Mrs Harry LeFever, all of Hagerstown; brother, Frank Kneisly, Martinsburg, W Va; and one granddaughter.

Services will be at Kraiss Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2 pm, the Rev Charles LeFew officiating. Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
