Izora was the daughter of Jacob and Sarah (nee Weidenhamer) Sheets. She marred ca. 1875 to Jonas B. "Joseph" Reitz; they had two sons, Charles Gustav and Frederick Guy Reitz. Izora was born and grew up along the Susquehanna River. After her marriage she and Jonas lived Indianapolis, Muscatine (IA) and Chicago. After a divorce from Jonas prior to 1904, Izora lived with her son in St. Cloud (MN), then after 1910 moved back to Northumberland County, where she died in 1912.
