MRS MARY EDNA ADAMS, 80, of 423 Liberty St, wife of the late Samuel S Adams, died at Washington County Hospital Wednesday evening.
She was born I Gettysburg, Pa, and had lived in the Hagerstown area most of her life. Mrs Adams was a member of the First Christian Church and Friendly Circle Sunday School Class.
She leaves: daughters, Mrs Lillian I Mandell of Hagerstown, and Mrs Olive L Remsburg of Braddock Heights; sons, Richard A Knepper of Hagerstown and Charles Faber Knepper of Rt 1, Hagerstown; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at Norment Funeral Home Saturday at 2 pm with the Rev Dr Wilbur S Hogevoll and the Rev Robert Regenold officiating, with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
