She was born Jan. 12, 1904, at Stockett, Mont., to William and Olga (Autio) Wuorenma. She marred John Krecker on June 30, 1923, at Pine City, Minn. He preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1969.
She lived in Turtle Lake Township until 1969. She worked for Jerome Foods for many years, doing both morning and evening chores on the farm at the same time. She moved to Almena in 1970.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and worked with Paul Heller to start the Senior Nutrition Meal and Senior Citizens Center in Almena. She was the oldest member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Almena, and was also a member of the Ladies Aid.
She hand-stitched many homemade quilts.
Surviving are a son, Gordon (Ede) of Turtle Lake; daughters, Gertrude Rayment of Almena and Mary Ann (Clem) Fall of Clayton; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Fanny Barton of Turtle Lake and Evie (Joe) Sparish of Cumberland; and a brother, August Wuorenma of Cumberland.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth; great-grandchildren, Justin King, Daniel Krecker and Katie Tripp; a sister, Alma Pimple; brothers, Vaino, John, Ray and George Wuorenma; and two infant siblings.
Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, from St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Rev. Norman Peterson officiating, with burial at Lakeview Cemetery, Turtle Lake.
Bill Wichart, Jim Wichart, Gary Krecker, David Fall, Douglas Fall, Jim Fall, Kevin Fall and Rob Everson served as pallbearers.
Skinner Funeral Home, Turtle Lake, handled arrangements.
