Mrs. Rosetta E. Breve, of 14 Abner Place, died Wednesday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock, at her home, after a lingering illness. She was born June 12, 1893, in Edwardsville, the daughter of the late Adam and Margaret Herweck. At the time of her death she had reached the age of 50 years, seven months and four days. On June 11, 1929, she was married in Edwardsville to Olin Breve, who survives. Mrs. Breve was a member of the Daughters of the Union Veterans and a member of the First Presbyterian church. She was very active in Sunday school work.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Marilyn; three sisters, Mrs. J.C. Kennedy of Alton, Mrs. Clara Dunn of Eldorado, and Mrs. G.W. Buckles of Edwardsville; and one brother, Charles Herweck, of Los Angeles, California.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 o'clock, at the First Presbyterian church. Rev. Carl L. Attig, pastor of the church, will have charge of the services. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The body will be at the Marks-Weber Funeral Home until time of the service.
Pallbearers were Adolph Suhre, Rudolph Aumann, Albert Meikamp, Bert Jacobs, Harold Theuer and Frank Wood.
