Bozarth, Linton E., 77, of Woodland, died Nov. 25, in the V.A. Hospital in Vancouver. He was born April 3, 1896 in Woodland, was a veteran of WWI serving in the Army, served on the Cowlitz County Fair Board for 17 years, was a member of the Cowlitz County Park Board, and VFW Post of Woodland, served as past district commander of the VFW, was quartermaster of the Woodland VFW post; a retired nurseryman and land scaper, and for many years was the instructor for safe handling of rifles. He is the last of the Bozarth pioneer family. Survivors include the widow, Clara at home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 in the Woodland Christian Church with the Rev. Finis Johnson officiating. Graveside memorial rites will be conducted by the Woodland VFW. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver. Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
