Mr. Bean is survived by his wife, Margaret V. Bean; his mother, Mrs Oscar Redmond; two children, Mrs Billy Lawson and Mrs. Margaret Archer of California; six step-children, Mrs Mazie Jones of California. Edward
Pilkerton of California, Sterling Pilkerton of California, Mrs Mary Mosher of California, Frank Pilkerton of California, and John Pilkerton of Pennsylvania; one brother, Leroy Bean of Washington D C.; and six step brothers and sisters, Jim Redmond of St. Mary's City, Irving Redmond of Hollywood. Mrs Elsie Bowles of
Leonardtown, Mrs George Owens of Lexington Park. Mrs Hilda Weaver of Louisiana and Mrs Hosalie Bullock of Virginia. He also leaves two grandchildren.
Prayers were said at the Robinson Funeral Home 7:30 pm Nov 13. A requiem mass was offered 10:30 a.m Nov 14 at St John's Church in Hollywood. Interment followed in church cemetery.

Son of Joseph H. Bean and Mary Edna Hewitt.
