A. G. Etheridge Buried Saturday
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for A. G. Etheridge, 75, who died Friday morning at this home in Fargo Community following a long illness.
Rev. J. D. North, pastor of the Fargo Baptist Church, officiated at the rites in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Eastview Memorial Park.
Pall bearers were W. H. Sweatmon, L. H. Wall, Clyde McGee, Terrell Killian and Ira Dunn. Mr. Etheridge is survived by the widow; three sons, Porter of Amarillo, Rupert of Amarillo and Howard of Bakersfield, Calif; a daughter Helen Tucker of Elmet, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Johnson of Chico, and four brothers, Carl of Headrick, Okla., Charlie of Waurika, Okla., and Hurley of Ft. Worth.
He was born in Paris, Tenn., and came to Wilbarger County in 1942. He was a retired ginner and a member of the Chico Christian Church.
