(CARROLLTON, Ga.) Zannie Davis Jordan, 85, of Carrollton, Ga., formerly of Graham, died Monday, April 11, 2005.
Mrs. Jordan was born July 6, 1919, in Cleburne County to the late Columbus Davis and Tilitha Hughes Davis. She was a retired LPN, having worked for Tanner Medical Center for 15 years, and was a member of Mt. Holly Church of God.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eueal Cleve Jordan; a son, David Jordan; a sister, Olene Reed; three brothers, Otis Davis, Areal Davis and Elbert Davis; and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include four daughters, Betty Boatright of Carrollton, Martha Sailor of Graham, Joyce Davison of Carrollton and Debbie Thomas of Mt. Zion, Ga.; a son, Harold Jordan of Carrollton; a sister, Lillie Reed of Carrollton; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be Wednesday, April 13, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Holly Church of God, with Bishop Evette Guyton and the Rev. Cecil Davis officiating. Music will be by Jeff and Stephanie Maxwell and Debbie Paul. Pallbearers will be David Jordan, Mark Sailors, Richy Hutchens, Michael Hite, Christopher Hutchens and Danny Jordan. Interment will follow in Little Vine Cemetery. Mrs. Jordan will lie in state at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral.
