MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Nellie V. Shinham Angle, 92, of 7977 Royer Road, died Sunday, April 13, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born June 4, 1904, near Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John M. and Cora E. Winger Shinham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Angle, in 1984.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Welsh Run Church of the Brethren in Mercersburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy J. Mills of Edenville, Pa., and Eleanor Miller of Mercersburg; four sons, John E. Angle and Harold R. Angle, both of Greencastle, Kenneth R. Angle of Mercersburg, and Charles L. Angle of Smithsburg; one sister, Cora E. Angle of Marion, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donald E. Angle; one sister, Mary Brant; four brothers, J. Elmer Shinham, David Shinham, George Shinham and Frank Shinham; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Welsh Run Church of the Brethren, 11420 Welsh Run Road, Mercersburg. The Rev. C. Henry Hunsberger will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Minnich-Miller-May Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle, today from 7 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
