Charles Perry DeMoss, formerly of Camp Point, a retired farmer, died suddenly in his home, 524 Kentucky street, Sunday morning at 11:45 o'clock.

Mr. DeMoss was born in Columbus township, September 20, 1857, a son of James and Margaret (Stout) DeMoss, and had lived in Quincy for twenty years.

He was married to Anna Felsman in Quincy Illinois, February 18, 1886.

Two children, Myrtle and Harry, preceded their father in death.

Funeral services for Charles Perry DeMoss were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in Daugherty Memorial, in charge of the Reverend L. C. Mauck.

Mrs. Mauck, with Mrs. W. L. Gurney, sang, with Robert Crowley at the organ.

Burial was in Greenmount cemetery.
