Ralph E. Findley, 93, formerly of 102 Stone House Lane, Columbia, died Friday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital. He had been a resident of Hamilton Arms for the past three years. He worked for 30 years at the Lancaster Brick Yard and for five years after that at Pennsylvania Malleable. He retired in 1971. His wife, Doris Descher Findley, died in 1975. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Enos and Dora Houck Findley. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara E., married to Ronald E. Ecenrode of Columbia; Nora L. Findley of Lancaster; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Harvey Houck of Lancaster; and two sisters, Annie and Alma Findley, both of Virginia.
