TALBOT, Kathleen H., 81, went to be with our Lord April 11, 2010, a resident of Columbus, Ohio, and most recently a resident of Countryview of Sunbury, Ohio. Kay was born to Ozzie and Margaret Hughes October 13, 1928. She was an elementary school teacher for many years, and on more than one occasion, mistaken for one of her students due to her exuberance. She later worked as a tax consultant with the Internal Revenue Service. She and husband, Richard, retired to Sebring, Fla., but made frequent trips back to Ohio to enjoy Lake Erie fishing and spending time with all their friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Richard; brothers, Raymond and Ralph; and her sister, Enid Weaver. She was a devoted loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. Kay was an excellent seamstress, a wonderful cook, a talented singer and an all around fun person; passing along her gift of love and happiness to her children and to their children. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brothers, Byron and Delbert; and sister, Ina Hendricks; children, Marybeth (Bill), Donna (Corwin) and Amy (Tom); grandchildren, Angela, Cameron, Courtney and Kyle; and great-grand-children, Taylor, Sierra and Ava.
