Abraham Bradley was the son of Lawrence Bradley and Elizabeth Lillard. Abraham married Sarah Elizabeth Lane, the daughter of Rev. Tidence Lane and Esther Van Bibbles. Abraham and Sarah had 8 children; George, Pricilla, Isaac, Aquilla, Tidence, John, Elizabeth (Betsey), and Abraham Bradley Jr.
According to the marker for Offie Bradley Bruce who is buried at Berea First Baptist Church Cemetery on Farr's Bridge Rd. in Berea, Greenville Co., SC, Abraham Bradley is buried in Shockley Cemetery on Old Hunt's Bridge Rd., in Greenville Co., SC. There were no tombstones in the cemetery. There were only fieldstones with no writing in Shockley Cemetery. It is hard to imagine Abraham Bradley without a tombstone. He owned hundreds of acres of land in Greenville County, SC. His new marker was erected on 18 August 2005 by Betty Johnson O'Brien, Trevor Thomas, and Carmen Campbell. Betty and Trevor are fifth great-grandchildren of Abraham Bradley. Carmen is a sixth great-grandaughter of Abraham Bradley.
