Mrs. Augusta Seaton Polston, aged 69, of Alicia, died in a Newport hospital Dec. 3. Born at Monette, she had lived at Alicia since 1929. She was a member of the Alicia Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, C.W. Polston; two sons, Carl of Alicia and Sgt A.L. Polston of Little Rock Air Force Base; a daughter Mrs. M.E. Toler of Newport, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Alicia Methodist Church Friday with the pastor, Rev. E.C. Hance, officiating, assisted by Rev. Prior Cruce of Newport. Burial was in Strangers Home Cemetery.
