CALDWELL-Services for Mrs. Hattie Jane Stiles Brown, 70, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today the Boone Memorial church. Interment will be at Canyon Hill. Mrs. Brown died Friday at Riggins Hot Springs, where she has been under medical care for some weeks. She came to Caldwell with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark G. Stiles in 1889 and has lived in this vicinity continuously since that date. She was born in Freeport, Illinois, Feb. 23, 1878, attended local schools and was graduated from the College of Idaho as a member of the third graduating class of the college in 1896. She was married to King R. Brown, March 11, 1902. Survivors [ All deceased] are her husband; two daughters Golda Ruth Brown Allison and Hester Brown Hamon and a son, Clark Quimby Brown all of Caldwell; 15 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
