New Jerusalem - Anna K. (Eckert), wife of Benjamin W. Angstadt, died suddenly this morning at one o'clock of a heart attack, aged 59 years, 8 months and 3 days. Besides the husband there survives one son, James, this place; four daughters, Mrs. Wallace Reinert, Kutztown; Mrs, Howard Richenbach, Shillington; Mrs. Jacob Derr, Tamaqua; Mrs. Harvey Miller, this place; one brother, James, Oley; two sisters, Mrs. A.K. Heist, this place, and Mrs. Charles Shearer, Newmanstown, and 15 grandchildren; also her step-mother, Mrs. Mary Eckert, this place. She was a member of New Jerusalem Reformed Church and Union Sunday school.
Funeral Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from her home at this place., with Rev, I.S. Stahr and Rev. Luke S. Schweitzer, of Oley, officiating. Interment in New Jerusalem Church Cemetery under the direction of Funeral Director E.Y. Weidner, of Oley.
